- 1 lb (450 g) lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup (60 g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (60 g) mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup (15 g) green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, green onions, and lemon juice.
- Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat.
- Shape the mixture into 8 patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the crab cakes in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Serve with tartar sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
- For spicier cakes, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mix.
