Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large russet potatoes (about 2 lbs or 900 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick.
- Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- In a bowl, toss the dried potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, make sure to soak the potatoes long enough.
- Feel free to customize the seasoning to your taste!
