- 1.5 lbs (680 g) pork belly, skin on
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) salt
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Score the skin of the pork belly with a sharp knife, making shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern.
- In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar to create a rub.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the pork belly, making sure to get it into the scored skin.
- Place the pork belly in the air fryer basket, skin side up.
- Cook for 20 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the inside is cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can increase the cooking time by an additional 5 minutes.
- Pair with steamed vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal.
