- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (60 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (15 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your choice of sides.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade.
