- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1/2 cup (50 g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 jar (24 oz or 680 g) marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch (2.5 cm) meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Serve with spaghetti or crusty bread for a complete meal.
