- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, 170 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (5 ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream and lemon juice to the saucepan, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Pour the garlic cream sauce over the salmon fillets.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flakey.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal.
