- 4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs.
- Place the chicken thighs on a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, brush BBQ sauce generously on top of the thighs.
- Continue baking until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Notes
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving for juicier results.
- Serve with coleslaw or cornbread for a complete meal.
