Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) fresh calamari, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  2. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each calamari ring in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated calamari rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. While the calamari is cooking, heat the marinara sauce in a small pot over low heat.
