- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
- 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each onion ring in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Next, dip the coated rings in buttermilk again, then in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the onion rings.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ketchup or ranch.
