- 2 lbs (900 g) ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cans (14 oz each) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot and add onion, garlic, bell pepper, diced tomatoes, beans, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, adjust seasoning as necessary and serve hot.

- Serve with crusty bread or rice for a complete meal.
