- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (any type)
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Toss cooked pasta with the beef mixture. Serve with Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.

- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
