Ingredients

- 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
- 1 cup (240 ml) sour cream
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and sear until browned, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream and the cooked beef. Cook until heated through.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the egg noodles and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use beef stock instead of broth.
- Add fresh parsley for garnish if desired.
