- 1/2 cup (50 g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
- Serve with marinara sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the meatball mixture sit for 15 minutes before shaping.
- These meatballs freeze well; store in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
