- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups (300 g) shredded lettuce
- 1 cup (150 g) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (120 g) salsa
- 12 small crispy taco shells
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and follow package instructions for adding water; stir until well combined.
- Heat taco shells in the oven for 5 minutes until warm and crispy.
- To serve, fill each taco shell with seasoned beef, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like jalapeños, avocado, or black olives!
- Make it vegetarian by substituting ground beef with lentils or black beans.
