- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed for consistency
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with paprika or parsley if desired.
Notes
- For an extra creamy texture, peel the chickpeas before blending.
- Serve with pita bread, veggie sticks, or as a spread on sandwiches.
