Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz or 425 g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) tahini
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
- Pulsate until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top. Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, peel the chickpeas before blending.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
