Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
- 1 cup (240 ml) BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the BBQ mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back with the sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve with coleslaw and buns for sliders.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
