- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup (240 ml) honey BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the honey BBQ sauce and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen before cooking.
