- 2 lbs (900 g) pork ribs
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) honey
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, ginger, black pepper, sesame oil, and cayenne pepper.
- Place the pork ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they’re well-coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Once cooked, preheat your BBQ grill to medium heat.
- Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on the grill.
- Grill for about 5-10 minutes, basting with the leftover sauce, until they are caramelized and slightly charred.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the sauce.
- Serve with coleslaw and cornbread for a classic BBQ experience.
