Ingredients

- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz (115 g) smoked salmon, chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) sour cream
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15 g) fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp (15 g) capers, rinsed and chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the smoked salmon, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- If using, fold in the capers.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers, vegetables, or fresh bread.
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some finely chopped red onion.
- This dip can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
